# ELF Code injection notes

- Locate PT_NOTE segments in binary
|
|
- Locate a suitable `.note.*` section for replacing code
|
|
- Modify the injection code section type from `SHT_NOTE` to `SHT_PROGBITS`
|
|
- Update relevant start, offset, and end addresses for new section |
